INVITATION

PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you and suitable representatives from your organization to participate in the Drilling Peaks, Valleys and Safety Technology Forum and Poster Session. Producers indicated through a recent PTAC survey that their top three technical drilling challenges are: extending the winter drilling season, public safety while drilling critical sour gas wells near densely populated areas, and reducing the drilling footprint.

The focus of this forum will be to demonstrate ways to balance drilling activity throughout the year and improve drilling safety using new technology or by adopting innovative company strategies.

This forum will feature case study presentations of these new technologies or innovative strategies followed by Q&A panel discussions.

Who Should Attend?
Drilling managers and decision-makers, geologists, Chief Financial Officers, asset management team leaders, exploration VPs - those with an interest in new or proposed technology projects to increase drilling efficiency and safety.

Opportunities
Forum participants will be able to take advantage of the following opportunities:

  • learn about new technology from industry experts through case study presentations
  • review additional technologies in a targeted poster session
  • hear about innovative corporate strategy to balance drilling activity and reduce costs
  • hear how to cost-effectively incorporate safer drilling rig design
  • participate in timely discussions to express your views.
  • network with your peers
