INVITATION

PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you, or suitable representatives from your organization, to participate in this forum. Highlights of this event will include the presentation of the final results of the Drilling Seasonal Load Leveling Business Case. You will obtain valuable insight and information on current and upcoming load leveling technologies and business strategies, success stories, challenges, as well as the results of British Columbia's three-year summer drilling incentive program.

The day will begin with lunch followed by the release of the results from Level Best: Drilling Seasonal Load Leveling Business Case report. The rest of the afternoon will consist of 20-minute presentations spanning policy and new technology followed by Q&A panels. The forum will end with an open floor discussion.

Opportunities
Forum participants will be able to take advantage of the following opportunities:

  • Access the final results of the PTAC Drilling Seasonal Load Leveling Business Case Project
  • Hear from the B.C. government on policy and regulations influencing future oil and gas industry seasonal load leveling incentives
  • Learn from industry leader case studies about new technologies and business processes that help to spread drilling activity throughout the year and subsequently improve profitability
  • Participate in a highly focused poster session as a supplier or user of load leveling technology
  • Participate in open floor discussions on barriers and needs for future oil and gas industry performance improvement through development and application of load leveling technology and alternative ways to program drilling activity
