Creating Value through Technology

PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada, would like to invite you to attend its 2013 Oil Sands Forum. This year’s forum consists of an engaging agenda, where speakers from organizations such as COSIA, Alberta Innovates, Alberta Energy, and the former CONRAD will speak about their accomplishments and futures, and several major oil sands companies, such as ConocoPhillips, Statoil, Imperial Oil, and Nexen, will speak about their technology developments.

Much has changed in the oil sands innovation system! At the implementation level, existing technology projects are producing results while new initiatives are being launched. The purpose of the Forum is to briefly look in the rear view mirror and take stock of accomplishments but most importantly peer into the future to decipher the promising trends.

Leaders of major industry and government programs and initiatives will provide updates on results, plans and ambitions. Specific technology pilots will report on status and prospective results. The outcome of the day will be an overview of the major oil sands technology enterprises painting a picture of where the industry will be in 5 to 10 years.
