PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you and suitable representatives from your organization to participate in the upcoming Driving Safety Technology Forum. The focus of the forum will be to introduce new technologies or strategies to improve driving safety in the petroleum industry.

The day will be comprised of a series of 30-minute case study or success story presentations on new technology, process applications or proposed technology. The forum will also include a presentation on the history of the PTAC Driving Safety Working Group and a demonstration on the physical issues of driving, considerations for fleet vehicles and what drivers should know about driving comfortably and safely to prevent injury.

Producer, regulator, auto manufacturer, researcher and service and/or supplier case studies or success stories regarding:
  • Innovative wildlife avoidance techniques
  • Driver fatigue management and prevention
  • Corporate or industry strategies
  • Driver behaviour or culture change
  • Vehicle monitoring systems
  • Vehicle adaptations
Opportunities
  • Learn from government and industry experts through presentations on new strategies, technologies or process applications to improve driving safety in your organization.
  • Participate in Why Are You Here Open Floor Discussion to express your views or ask questions pertaining to key plans, programs or issues.
  • Provide input on driving safety priorities.
