CALL FOR POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS
Of Technology Case Studies or Success Stories
PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you to present a case study or success story at the upcoming Driving Safety Technology Forum. The focus of the forum is to introduce new technologies to improve driving safety in the petroleum industry.
The day will be comprised of a series of 30-minute case study or success story presentations of new technology or process applications followed by Q&A panels.
PTAC invites producers, regulators, auto manufacturers, researchers and service and suppliers to present a case study or success story covering one of the following topics:
- Innovative wildlife avoidance techniques
- Driver fatigue management and prevention
- Corporate or industry strategies
- Driver behaviour or culture change
- Vehicle monitoring systems
- Vehicle adaptations
You are welcome to suggest additional topics and/or possible speakers
POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS
PowerPoint presentations must provide results of either soft or hard technology applications or details of proposed technology demonstration projects. PowerPoint slides will be included in the forum proceedings distributed to attendees. Speakers will be allotted 20 minutes and be part of a Q&A panel. One speaker per presentation will be registered for the forum complimentary; all speakers will be responsible for their own accommodation and travel.
All presentation submissions must supply an abstract (brief outline/summary) to be evaluated by the Driving Safety Working Group. Presentations will be evaluated on the basis of their technical contribution, originality and applicability to the focus of the forum. All technology supplier presentations must have an end-user co-sponsor willing to verify that the presentation is "worthy of consideration by the oil and gas industry." End-user presentations do not require a co-sponsor and will be given preference in formulating the agenda.
