INVITATION

PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you, or suitable members from your organization, to participate in the CO2 from Industrial Sources to Commercial Enhanced Oil & Gas Recovery Forum and Workshop. This event will focus on CO2 enhanced oil & gas recovery technology solutions, government policy and initiation of new joint industry technology projects to address current barriers to CO2 enhanced oil & gas recovery implementation.

DAY ONE October 1, 2003

  • Listen to key government officials speak on government policy
  • Learn from industry experts about CO2 reservoir and corrosion management at Canada's largest CO2 project and at the United State's oldest commercial CO2 project
  • Participate in discussions with two Roundtable Groups
  • Producer Roundtable - Participants from three CO2 user nodes in Alberta: Swan Hills/Judy Creek, Pembina and Medicine Hat/Taber and other potential areas
  • Alberta Supplier Roundtable - Participants from four main CO2 supply nodes in Alberta: Fort McMurray, Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan/Redwater, Red Deer/Joffre and Medicine Hat/Taber and other potential areas
  • Express your views or ask questions pertaining to the presentations
DAY TWO October 2, 2003
  • Listen to CO2 enhanced oil & gas recovery research & technology project presentations
  • Participate in working groups that will address barriers to CO2 enhanced oil & gas recovery implementation and initiate new joint industry technology or research projects

Deadline September 22nd, 2003 for receipt of registrations. Full payment required with registration. Invoices will not be issued.

No refunds for cancellations, participant substitutions allowed if PTAC is notified in writing.

After September 1, 2003, reservations will be subject to availability, and higher rates may apply.
