INVITATION
PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you and suitable representatives from your organization to participate in the above forum and workshop. The focus of this event will be to demonstrate ways to improve economical gas recovery using new technology in all types of gas reservoirs that are in the latter stages of depletion, including: solution gas, sour dry gas, retrograde condensate and bottom water drive or influx.
Participants will hear case study presentations of new technology or process applications and proposed technology demonstration projects, learn about technology transfer to new applications and reservoirs, and participate in working groups to initiate projects leading to new commercial applications and improved economical gas recovery. Breakout topics include downhole compression/ disposal/separation, onsite compression, water coning/shut off technologies and mechanical/chemical artificial lift.
Opportunities
- Learn from industry experts through case study presentations on new technology or process applications to improve economical gas recovery in gas reservoirs in their later stages of recovery.
- Learn about proposed technology demonstration projects.
- Participate in discussions to express your views or ask questions pertaining to key issues.
- Participate in working groups to uncover unmet needs, to address the implementation challenges ahead and to determine potential new technology joint industry projects.
