CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS OF TECHNOLOGY CASE STUDIES OR PROPOSED PROJECTS

PTAC Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada invites you to present a case study or proposed technology demonstration project at the next shallow gas production technology forum.

The forum will begin with 20-minute case study presentations of new technology or process applications or proposed technology demonstration projects followed by Q&A panels and end with a producer and regulator panel on key issues in shallow gas. The day is likely to finish with an afternoon networking reception.

PTAC invites you to present a case study or proposed technology demonstration project related to one of the following 3 themes:

  • Reservoir (stimulation, fracturing including coiled tubing fracturing, fracture mapping, fracture containment etc)
  • Sand, fines and produced water lifting, reducing flowing bottom hole pressure, optimization
  • Surface facilities (produced water, fines and sand handling/disposal, compression etc)
A long list of suggested topics can be found in the summary of feedback forms from the sold-out Shallow Gas Production Technology Forum in 2004 at www.ptac.org/techresf.html.

Service and supplier presentations must show how the technology solved or could solve a producer's problem and must have a producer or end-user co-sponsor verify that the presentation is "worthy of consideration by the oil and gas industry."

SUBMISSION DEADLINE - January 23, 2006

If you are interested in making a presentation at this forum, please submit

  1. The title of your possible presentation(s)
