Project
Description
A geological, petrophysical and reservoir
engineering project will be proposed to conduct detailed analyses of
potential zones bypassed by conventional methodologies. The distribution
of reservoir and hydrocarbons properties will be determined and can be
used to build a reservoir model of production. Fifteen wells will be
selected on participant’s land and pre-wellsite, wellsite and
post-wellsite processing will be performed using PT (Prospectors
Technology) and Prospectors technical personnel. Discovery of new
pay zones are anticipated and an additional DST will be run to confirm the
productivity of these zones. The proposed project will integrate all PT
technologies from start to finish.
Project Scope
- The evaluation of possible new and
bypassed pay zones on 15 wells from different oil and gas regions for
the benefit of the future exploration, Alberta Department of Energy and
participating oil companies.
- Implement a series of new
petro-physical measurements (DTG, QFI, HcSI, HcR, and HcPI), introduced
by Prospectors Corp. (PC),
- To apply the Prospectors
Hydrocarbon Reservoir Evaluation (PHRE)
- To apply the Prospectors Wellsite
Technologies and methodologies on drilling, exploration, development and
producing hydrocarbon oil fields
- To apply advanced log
interpretations and reservoir properties characterization for oil &
gas reservoir life extension.
- Make recommendations to the ADOE
for further developments and applications of PT.
