Case study presentations will demonstrate how wireless, telecommunications and information technology can improve a company's bottom line. A focused trade show will feature additional technologies, hands-on technology demonstrations and innovations. A networking mixer will provide an excellent opportunity to exchange findings, ideas and network with peers. KEYNOTE PRESENTATION"How to Determine the Business Value of Wireless, Telecommunications and Information Communication Technology in the Oilpatch?" Jeff Lowe, VP Energy and Utilities Marketing, TELUS Business Solutions TECHNOLOGY CASE STUDIES WILL FOCUS ON:
Presentations must demonstrate the business benefits of proposed technology solutions. Slides will be included in the forum proceedings distributed to attendees. Speakers are allotted 25 minutes and will be part of a Q&A panel. One speaker per presentation will receive a complimentary forum registration. All speakers are responsible for their own accommodation and travel. All technology supplier presentations must have an end-user co-sponsor willing to verify that the presentation is "worthy of consideration by the oil and gas industry". Presentations made by industry (e.g., producers) do not require a co-sponsor. Technology suppliers must supply a presentation title, abstract and co-sponsor information to be evaluated for its suitability for this forum by the Wireless and Telecommunications Forum Planning Group.
