This will include challenges such as, but not limited to, water consumption and management, chemical injection, GHG emissions, public perception, etc. New science and research projects/results will be shared by many organizations including the Canadian Water Network, Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America, EnCana’s U of A Water Research Initiative, Alberta Upstream Petroleum Research Fund. The event will also feature a Panel Discussion with executive representatives from industry, government and academia to have an open collaborative discussion on challenges and opportunities. In addition to the platform presentations there will be a poster/technology demonstration area which will feature additional research posters and innovative technology solutions to address challenges as well as an Executive Sponsor Lounge to provide for additional networking opportunities.
