The Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN) is hosting a webinar on May 10, 2018 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (MST) with David Watters, CEO, and Adam Jarvis, VP Policy and Research, of Global Advantage Consulting Group who will take you through the innovation and economic development related components of the 2018 federal budget.

Dave and Adam will highlight where money will be spent, demonstrate which stakeholders were the winners and which were ignored, and discuss the implications the 2018 budget holds for the oil and gas industry as we move into an election cycle next year.  Global Advantage will also present the risks and opportunities for the oil and gas sector as they highlight key areas of interest including R&D, the Superclusters and Economic Strategy Tables, and trade.

The new 2018 Federal Innovation Ecosystem Map lays this out all on one canvas. Using visuals and animated data, Dave and Adam will walk participants through the map to structure the conversation, from Federal and Provincial governments and funding bodies, to not-for-profits, associations, academic institutions, private firms, and global markets.

Please note that Global Advantage will be delivering their presentation via webinar from their office in Ontario and will not be on site in Calgary. Participants are welcome to join us at the PTAC Conference Centre in Calgary to view the webinar and interact with other CRIN members, or may participate remotely.
