PTAC Member Event: Detecting and reducing methane/GHG fugitive emissions

Recording

Join us for a free hybrid workshop on June 1 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in PTAC’s Conference Room in Chevron Plaza, where you can learn how to effectively manage fugitive emissions in the oil and gas industry. As environmental targets and regulatory regulations become increasingly stringent, oil and gas companies are required to develop fugitive emissions programs to avoid fines and achieve their sustainability goals.

Led by renowned emissions management expert, Gobind Khiani, this hybrid event will provide attendees with actionable insights on locating, tracking, and reducing fugitive emissions in the field. Techniques like Drill and Tap will be discussed as effective means to address emissions. Participants will also gain valuable knowledge on setting up a Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program at their company, ensuring compliance with local air quality regulations.

With Mr. Khiani’s extensive experience in emissions management, including his involvement with regulatory bodies and research initiatives, attendees will benefit from his expertise and gain practical skills to confidently manage fugitive emissions in their oil and gas facilities.
